JOSE ANTONIO CLEMENTE, UNIVERSITY OF THE PHILIPPINES DILIMAN"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>How to be human(e) and other important questions in <em>Sikolohiyang Pilipino<\/em>: <\/strong><strong>Personal reflections and narratives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this brief presentation, I aim to present an overview of <em>Sikolohiyang Pilipino (SP)<\/em> based on my personal and professional involvements in the field as a teacher, researcher, and advocate. I will share (a) what I\u2019ve learned about indigenizing Psychology and why the Philippine case still has a long way to go; (b) some of the tensions in the field (e.g., What language shall we use? Can outsiders contribute? Is SP a science or a movement?); and (c) some of the interesting questions in SP that I\u2019ve tried (or have yet to try) to answer in my own work (e.g., what does it mean to be a good person in the Philippines?).
