The psychological is participatory. Bridging historical and participatory research in psychology
Nora, Barbara, and Emelie will talk about the evolution of their research program, which began as an oral-history and archival-based project on the history of feminist psychology in Vienna. They uncovered that much feminist psychology emanated from community-based women’s counseling centres. Their project has now developed into a partnership with some of their interview participants to bring clients’ stories and perspectives to the fore.
